The construction of the Yalnızca Weir and HEPP project in Amasya province began in 2008. The project situated on the Filyos River received provisional acceptance in September 2009 and was subsequently commissioned. Featuring three vertical Kaplan turbines with individual capacities of 5.25 MWm, the project boasts a total installed capacity of 15.75 MWm. Leveraging a project flow rate of 75 m³/sec and a gross head of 24 m, the project's annual generation capacity amounts to 56 GWh.
